LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mo. — The Chillicothe Fire Department responded to a fire call at the Barnabus Home on Monroe Street this morning.
According to a press release, firefighters arrived to the residential care facility at 8:14 a.m. where the sprinklers filled the kitchen area with 3 inches of water. No fire was reported at the time when fire officials arrived.
One of the kitchen ladys in the building told the fire department she heard an explosion when she was heading back to the kitchen.
There was reportedly evidence of a small explosion in the kitchen.
The investigation of the incident is ongoing by the fire marshall.
