A Kansas City driver was involved in a four vehicle collision on Highway 64 near Route AA in Laclede County Friday evening that proved fatal for a Lebanon man. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report James A. Coleman, 59, of Lebanon, was eastbound when he crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by Kevin Taylor, 27, of Kansas City, in the side. Then Coleman struck a vehicle driven by Angela Even, 44, of Lebanon, head on. After those vehicles came to rest, another vehicle driven by Dalton Stuckey, 18, of Lebanon, struck Taylor head on.
James A. Coleman was pronounced dead at the scene. Coleman’s passenger, Bryant Long, 49, of Lebanon, was in serious condition as was Dalton Stuckey. They were air lifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Angela Even had minor injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon.
