Clay County Sheriffs CarUPDATE: (08/27/16) 11:25 a.m. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that the southbound lanes of Hwy. 69, between Cameron and Summersette Roads is back open.

The lanes were closed for just under two hours as crews cleared the scene of a vehicle collision at that location. Rhodus Road was also closed for a little more than an hour, between Hwy. 69 and 140th Rd.

There is no word on injuries suffered by those involved, if any.

UPDATE: (08/27/16) 9:55 a.m. Rhodus Road is also shut down now, from 140th Rd. south to 69.

CLAY COUNTY, Mo. – The Clay County Sheriff’s office is reporting that southbound lanes of Highway 69 near Mosby, Mo. are closed due to a motor vehicle accident.

The closure is between Summersette Road and Cameron Road about a 2 mile stretch of that highway again avoid southbound 69 from Cameron Road south to Summersette Road. Authorities should be diverting traffic.

Again, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that the southbound lanes of Highway 69 near Mosby, Mo., at the Midwest National Air Center, just northeast of Liberty, are closed between Cameron Road and Summersette Road due to a motor vehicle accident.
