Proceeds will be put toward a local non-profit organization. “Operation Help helps people out in Livingston County. The Ministerial Alliance, it’s part of their program,” said Applebury, “We host it here at this church. We don’t have anything to do directly with it, but it is hosted. And the spaghetti supper is a benefit for Operation Help.”

The organization aids Livingston County residents by providing financial assistance for necessities such as rent and doctor’s appointments.

“It’s one of the better charities that actually helps people that need a little bit of help. You know, they’re not being carried forever and ever and ever. They’ve got a problem, a small emergency, whatever. It feels to me like it’s a charity benefit for the county that is meaningful. It’s not just giving money away. It’s actually helping some people out when they’ve got needs.”

The meal will be served from 4:00 to 7:00 in the Community Room of Chillicothe’s First Christian Church. The group is asking for a free will donation.
