A Lee’s Summit woman was arrested this morning on multiple charges. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Tierra Thomas-Moman, 27, was charged with alleged felony resisting arrest by fleeing, three counts of speeding, turning from course when unsafe, following too close and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle after Carroll County Sheriff’s Deputies ended the pursuit which started in Saline County.
According to reports, Carroll County was requested to intercept a pursuit early Sunday morning, that started near Grand Pass and was rapidly approaching the Waverly Bridge on Highway 65. Carroll County advised shortly after that they had successfully deployed spike strips. Within two minutes, the front tire was reported to be going down and the speed of the pursuit was slowing.
Thomas-Moman was taken to the Saline County Jail where she is being held for a 24-hour investigation and a wrecker was requested to tow the vehicle from the scene of the stop.
