JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved an agreement reached by Spire Missouri which will change the infrastructure system replacement surcharge for Spire West and East customers.

The adjustments reflect infrastructure replacement investments made by the natural gas company from August 1, 2019 through February 29, 2020.

The company says the ISRS adjustments reflect infrastructure replacement investments made by the natural gas company from August 1, 2019 through February 29, 2020. According to a press release, costs for natural gas pipeline replacements and relocations are not currently included in Spire Missouri, Inc.’s rates

The ISRS for Spire East residential customers will increase by approximately $0.65 a month and by approximately $0.82 a month for Spire West residential customers. The changes take effect on May 25, 2020.

The ISRS first appeared on Spire West customer bills in April 2004. The ISRS first appeared on Spire East customer bills in June 2004.
