Softball: Crest Ridge – 10 Green Ridge – 0

Crest Ridge Lady Cougars run their winning streak to 6 games with a 10-0 win over Green Ridge on Thursday night. We had a great night at the plate tonight. We only stranded 4 baserunners and made some great contact in key situations. Kelsie Seaman had 3 RBIs, Bre Wonderly had a double and a triple, and Lindsey Feldman had two doubles and two RBIs. Bre Wonderly again was a walk away from a perfect game. She only faced the minimum(number of batters) due to an excellent throw by Melodi Branscum on an attempted steal in the 4th Inning. The second game of the double header against Barstow was cancelled. Crest Ridge starts the defense of the conference tournament championship on Monday afternoon at 4:00 against Wellington-Napoleon.

We appreciate the information from Edwin Bridges at Crest Ridge.
