Senior class members from University of Missouri mens basketball team took on an all star selection of senior players from local high schools last (Thu) night in Chillicothe. Mizzou stand out Kim English says the idea of putting on a show for this area has been on his mind for awhile.
The Mizzou seniors defeated the high school all stars by a final of 137 to 66. The fans watched Jarrett Sutton knock down numerous three pointers and lead all scorers with 36 points. English chipped in 23 while Michael Fleshman from Cameron led the high school squad with 14.
Chillicothe guard Jacob McKiddy says that the final score had nothing to do with how much he enjoyed the event.
Chillicothe Senior Nic Voorhies who scored 13 points in a losing effort says the event was about more than basketball.
Chillicothe big man Chris Bigby who scored four points in the game says it was one more opportunity to show case his talents.
The Mizzou players singed autographs for over two hours prior to the game.
