(Kansas City, MO) — Eric Berry’s 38-yard interception return in the first quarter sparked the Chiefs to a 26-16 win over the Eagles in Philadelphia. KC forced five turnovers while committing none to improve to 3-and-0. The Chiefs also sacked Michael Vick five times. Andy Reid was greeted with a warm welcome in his return to Philadelphia. Fans gave Reid a standing ovation as he was introduced before the game. He was also thanked in a message over the public address system for his years coaching the Eagles. Reid spent 14 seasons with Philadelphia but was fired after last season and hired by KC. The Chiefs host the Giants in Week Four.

(Arlington, TX) — The St. Louis Rams are on the road this Sunday to play the Dallas Cowboys. The Rams come in at 1-and-1 after losing to the Falcons 31-24 last weekend. The Cowboys are also 1-and-1 following a 17-16 loss to Kansas City in Week Two.

(Kansas City, MO) — The Royals will try to keep their slim wild card hopes alive when they host the Rangers in the first of a three-game series tonight. Ervin Santana takes the mound for KC, while Texas sends Martin [[ mar-TEEN ]] Perez to the hill. The Rangers beat the Rays last night, leaving the Royals three games behind both in the AL Wild Card race.

(Denver, CO) — Corey Dickerson’s second triple of the game drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 15th inning as the Colorado Rockies dealt the St. Louis Cardinals a 7-6 loss at Coors Field. With the loss the Cardinals’ lead atop the NL Central is down to one game over Pittsburgh. Todd Helton hit a game-tying solo homer off Cards closer Edward Mujica in the bottom of the ninth. Matt Holliday went 3-for-4 with two RBI for St. Louis. Fernando Salas took the loss. The Cards and Brewers start a three-game series tonight.
