GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Playing on the road hardly bothered the New York Giants as they posted their fourth straight road playoff victory dating back to their Super Bowl season of 2007. Eli Manning tossed three TD passes and the Giants upset the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers 37-20. Fans say the playoff run is similar to a few years ago when the Giants won the Super Bowl. The Giants will now head to San Francisco to take on the 49ers this weekend for the right to go to the Super Bowl.
BALTIMORE (AP)__The Baltimore Ravens rode their trademark stingy defense to a 20-13 victory over Houston, forcing four Texans turnovers. That earned the Ravens a trip to New England next Sunday to play the Patriots in the AFC title game.
Tim Tebow is looking forward to next season despite the disappointing loss to the New England Patriots over the weekend. Tebow also is thanking his teammates for working with him and doing their best. Meanwhile, Denver Mayor Michael Hancock wore a Tom Brady jersey yesterday to settle a bet with Boston Mayor Tom Menino. Hancock is also sending Menino 40 pounds of Colorado’s finest homegrown beef, including “Tebow Tenderloins.”
