HENRY COUNTY, Mo. — A resident of Springfield is behind bars in Henry County after a traffic stop Monday morning.

The Highway Patrol reported stopping Michael D. Inman, 36, at about 8:32 a.m. Monday.

The stop resulted in a search of the vehicle, and officers reported finding meth in Inman’s vehicle.

Inman now faces preliminary charges for felony possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine as well as driving while revoked. He is also accused of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a registration violation, not having insurance and not wearing a seat belt.

Inman was taken to the Henry County Jail to await the filing of formal charges in a Henry County courtroom.
