KANSAS CITY, Mo – Prosecutors have charged members of a St. Joseph gang with with murder and drug allegations.

U.S. Attorney, Tammy Dickinson announced the charges Friday, which include multiple counts of murder, armed robbery, and drug trafficking against eight members of what she called, a violent, criminal enterprise.

The indictment alleges they operated in multiple states in the midwest, trafficking heroin, cocaine, crack cocaine, meth, and marijuana.

Victor Matias-Torres led the gang, which created a “climate of fear” in St. Joseph.
