BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo. — A resident of St. Joseph is facing multiple charges including a number of drug-related allegations.
An arrest report from the Missouri Highway Patrol indicates that 56-year-old Johnny R. Barnes was arrested at about 8:10 p.m. Monday.
He was detained on suspicion of felony delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana.
In addition, Barnes faces accusations of driving while suspended, receiving stolen property, not wearing a seat belt, not having valid plates, not having insurance and failing to title a motor vehicle.
Barnes was transferred to the Buchanan County Jail. Formal charges are currently pending.
