BUCHANAN COUNTY, Mo. – A St. Joseph driver was jailed shortly before midnight Friday night for drug and traffic violations in Buchanan County.arrested-300x225

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Melissa B. Farmer, 35, was taken into custody around 11:40 p.m. on September 18, 2015, for alleged leaving the scene of an accident. During the investigation, Farmer was also alleged to have been in felony possession of a controlled substance, careless and imprudent driving involving an accident and driving while revoked.

Farmer was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Buchanan County Law Enforcement Center pending filing of formal charges.
