Several swimmers at the Lake of the Ozarks are being credited with possibly saving the life of a St. Louis man. According to the Water Patrol, Ralph Lanton was swimming in Pogue Hollow Cove Thursday afternoon, when he swam after a raft that had floated away due to the wind. Before reaching the raft, Lanton suffered a cramp in his leg. A number of nearby swimmers pulled Lanton to the shore, where he was taken to Lake Regional Hospital as a precaution.
