The 39th District Representative will talk about the past session and current happenings at the Mo. State Capitol.

CARROLLTON, Mo. – A few items will be discussed by city leaders at the Carrollton City Council meeting Monday, August 17, 2015.

After the approval of the previous meeting’s minutes council will hear from State Representative Joe Don McGaugh of the 39th District. The representative will give an update on happenings in Jefferson City.

That will be followed by an update from Area Economic Alliance Director Sharon Metz about the Hero’s Wall.

Leaders will also discuss and possibly pass an ordinance to update the city’s purchasing and selling policy. There will also be reports from several city departments including fire and police.

The regular session gets underway at 6 p.m. inside council chambers of Carrollton City Hall, 206 W. Washington St.
