Crews from several departments responded to a structure fire at Monroe Manor on North Locust in Carrollton Wednesday.   KMZU’s Chelsea Wade was on the scene:

The problem reportedly began in the attic and crews have since contained the fire.  Traffic is being diverted on North Locust at West First Street at this time.  No injuries have been reported.  Carrollton Fire Chief Curtis Shields says the cause could be blamed on an electrical problem:

Shields says they had to move all of the occupants on the third floor to the first as a precautionary measure:
