convicted in their recent charges.

According to court documents, the 49 year old Newton residents, Robin Laray Green and Richard James Allen, have been charged with a single count of first degree assault- causing serious physical injurie, after incidents which occurred this past Friday, March 18, 2016.

In a probable cause statement release to KMZU, Green and Allen both were involved in an attack on another Newtown resident around 10:15 p.m. March 18th. Statements include accusations of Allen punching the victim multiple times and struggling over a crow bar as well as Green burning the top of the victims head while Allen held him down.

The suspect was later transferred to a local hospital where he was loaded directly into a helicopter for transfer to another facility.

Arrest warrants were issued yesterday, March 21, 2016, for both the suspects.

Bail in the matter has been set at $50,000, cash only.
