BOONE COUNTY, Mo. – A one-vehicle accident injured three people when a vehicle overturned in rural Boone County Sunday night, August 21, Arrest-Featured-Prints2016, around 11:15 p.m.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Zachary Crader, 21, of Columbia, Mo., was driving westbound on Route M near Fox Hollow Road when the Chevy pick-up went off the right side of the roadway.

Crader over corrected sending the vehicle back onto the roadway and off the left side. It then returned to the road and overturned. Crader was uninjured, but 21-year-old passengers Raechel Douglas and Sean Murphy, both of Columbia, sustained minor injuries while Juliana Hays, 21, of Monroe City, Mo. suffered moderate injuries.

Neither of the injured was reportedly wearing a seat belt. All three were transported to University Hospital for treatment.

Crader was taken into custody and transported to the Boone County Jail. He faces allegations of 2nd Degree Assault and Driving While Intoxicated.

He was awaiting bond at the time of this report.
