Surveillance of a property south of Marshall led to the arrest of three individuals. The Saline County Sheriff’s Office placed cameras on a rural Marshall property on June 6th and 7th after receiving reports of stolen tools and metals. The second night of surveillance a black Ford F-150 was witnessed to be scouting the area. After stopping on the property two separate times, Saline county deputies followed, then stopped the truck at a driveway in the 700 block of East Arrow, one of the passengers fled. That suspect was apprehended a short time later with the help of Highway Patrol troopers and Marshall police officers. 31-year-old Peter Ulberg and 29-year-old Pamela Swigert, both of Stover are charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. 31-year-old Derrick Hurshman of Marshall is being held on an outstanding warrant out of Johnson County. That investigation is on going.
