LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo.– Lee’s Summit Police say a 28-year-old Kansas City man has been charged in connection with Sunday’s robbery at the Rush Hour Convenience store in Lee’s Summit.
Daniel D. Hooker, 28, is charged with first degree robbery and armed criminal action. According to court documents, Lee’s Summit responded to an armed robbery call at the convenience store and caught up with a witness who was following the suspect’s vehicle on 470.
The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot and was arrested by Independence Police. A bond of $75,000 has been requested with court dates pending.
