FULTON, Mo. – A two year old girl was found in a vehicle after it lead Fulton Police on a high speed chase Friday.
Officers with the Mustang Drug Task Force were preparing to serve a search warrant on the home of Charles Adam Pearl, 25, when police heard he was trying to escape in a car. Police attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle and it sped away. After the damaged vehicle was abandoned, the driver fled on foot and was later apprehended. Officers arriving to secure the suspect vehicle found the child in the vehicle. After an examination by emergency personnel, the child was turned over to it’s mother.
Pearl is being held with a $75,000 bond for charges stemming from the pursuit and two active Boone County warrants.
