HARRISONVILLE, Mo. – Harrisonville Police are asking for assistance from the public, to locate a vehicle reportedly used in a failed abduction Thursday afternoon.

The mother of a 12 year old boy called police around 2:00 p.m. yesterday, to report that a man in a black minivan tried to pick her son near the town square. The van is described as having dark tinted window and a blue “Revenge” sticker on the back window. The boy said the driver was wearing a mask when he stopped near Butler and Wall Street and told child to get in the van. The victim struck the suspect with his skateboard and fled the area.
