DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. – The inmate who shot a Trenton officer during a transport in Daviess County has waived his formal arraignment.
The waiver for Jamey M. Griffin, 35, was filed before the 1:30 p.m. hearing Thursday. Griffin has been charged with felony counts of assault in the first degree on a special victim, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.
Yesterday’s hearing was cancelled and a setting preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. on July 2, 2019.
