The evening will include live music and the chance to hold live native Missouri animals.  The main program will be presented by Mad Science of Kansas City.  It is titled “Bugs, Habitats, and Hives…Oh My!”  More information is available at kansascity.madscience.org.

Other activities include hay rides, a turtle tank, a stream box, an archery range, and the observation tower will be open.

Activities start at 5:00 and will end around dark.

The refuge was closed for four days earlier this month due to flooding, but the waters have receded and is once again open to the public.
