SWEET SPRINGS, MO – An area hospital is voluntarily suspending its license after compliance issues surfaced.

According to the state department of Health and Human Services, I-70 Community Hospital in Sweet Springs is currently not in compliance with regulations, and unable to provide some services. The license suspension is effective at 7 p.m. Friday evening, and will last for 90 days as the hospital attempts to fully comply with regulations. The specific regulations that were not followed were unnamed in the information release.
