CHILLICOTHE, Mo. – The Chillicothe City Council will gather in regular session Monday, July 11, 2016 at City Hall.
A proposed local firing range in partnership with the National Guard is expected to be part of the night’s agenda.
There will also be a discussion brought up that was tabled at last meeting due to incomplete information. It concerns a resolution to aid local manufacturer Sonoco with a rail spur expansion purported to help the business expand and create more area jobs.
Micha Landes is expected before the council this evening as well to ask for support of a small business office as part of the Main Street program.
Also part of proceedings will be a discussion of a fair housing resolution and the prohibition of excessive force.
Plus, city employee Johnny Maples will be recognized for his years of service to the community.
Council will gather in their chamber at City Hall, 715 Washington St., at 6:30 p.m.
