Johnson County Community Health Services will be holding two clinics this month for students entering the 8th grade to get their required tetanus, diptheria, and pertussis shot.  Administrator Deborah Haller says this is the first year that the state of Missouri has required them for children this young.

One clinic will be held this Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Johnson County Community Health in Warrensburg.  Another will be on May 18th.  Haller says there is no cost for the shot for incoming 8th graders.
