A Malta Bend teen that’s no stranger to the legal system was arrested during Slater’s Rockfest on Saturday. According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Department, Erik Schrand, 19, was visibly intoxicated and became belligerent when deputies tried to arrest him.
He was transported to the county jail where test results revealed his Blood Alcohol Content was .136%. He also tested positive for T.H.C and Benzodiazepines.
Schrand was booked and released. His case has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further action.
He’s believed to have been the only person arrested during Slater’s Rockfest.
Schrand was arrest one month ago on charges unlawful use of a weapon and assault. Reports allege the teen pulled a knife on a homeowner in the 100 block of East Lunbeck. No one was injured in the incident.
