An arrest Saturday afternoon in Daviess County lead to the detainment of a Texas man on drug and traffic violations. According to the Highway Patrol, Joseph Holland28, of Austin, Texas was arrested Saturday afternoon for marijuana possession of up to 35 grams and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Subsequently, Holland was also charged with speeding, going 85 mph in a 70 mph. Holland is on a 24-hour hold in a Daviess-Dekalb Regional Jail.
