With the recent earthquakes in Japan, charity scams are on the rise everywhere.

Reese says one warning sign is if the person or organization says all the money will go to the cause then, it may be a scam.
Reese also warns about jar scams. With this type of scam, a jar or can is placed in local shops or stores and there is no way of knowing where the money goes.
