First Saturdays in Arrow Rock continue throughout the year, offering a variety of events. Our next First Saturday event takes place on May 5, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00  p.m.: Textile Tour and includes a 1 p.m. PowerPoint presentation on the Boonslick Barn Quilt Project, plus demonstrations and displays of coverlets, weaving, spinning, quilting, knitting, rug hooking, rug braiding, penny rug making, and bobbin lace. Historic properties owned by the Friends of Arrow Rock, staffed with volunteers and open free to the public during this afternoon include the Miller-Bradford House, Brown’s Chapel, the Christian Church, The John Sites House and Gun Shop, the Print Shop and I.O.O.F. Lodge Hall.
