DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. – A Minnesota driver was jailed shortly before noon Tuesday for drug allegations in Daviess County.

According to the arrest report from the Missouri drug-arrestHighway Patrol, Joshua J. Roan, 27, of Minneapolis was stopped for driving 85 mph in a 70 mph zone. During the stop, Roan was allegedly found to be in felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Roan was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Daviess-Dekalb Regional Jail to await formal charges.
