SHELBY COUNTY, Mo. — A Shelbyville woman is the third person in the last month to be charged with manufacturing drugs near Clarence Elementary School.

According to Shelby County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant on September 16th at the residence of 23-year-old Paige McClure on Elm Street in Clarence.

Multiple items related to the manufacturing of marijuana was recovered in the residence. McClure is facing felony manufacturing of a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of a school charge.

Two others, Jared D. Bentley and Crystal Lynn Payne, were charged in the past month for manufacturing marijuana and selling meth near the school, respectively.

It is unsure if these arrests are connected. A warrant for arrest carrying a bond of $20,000 has been listed. McClure is not in custody at this time.
