MOBERLY, Mo.- According to an incident report received from the Moberly Police Department, an investigation continues following reported property damage and stolen items at a residence in Moberly, Mo., Friday, July 7, 2017.
During the morning hours, Moberly Police were called to the 400 block of West Coates Street and the 500 block of West End Street regarding stolen property and property damage. Upon further investigation, approximately $1,400 worth of miscellaneous items were stolen and $1,700 of property damage occurred.
Officers identified a suspect who was later located and taken into custody. Upon completion of the investigation officers also located drug paraphernalia and learned the subject had forged several documents. A 38-year-old Moberly, Mo., man was arrested for felony stealing, property damage, forgery, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a Macon County warrant.
He’s currently in custody at the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office pending formal charges by the Randolph County Prosecuting Attorney.
