LATHROP, Mo. — Administrators at the Lathrop School District say that a message scrawled on the boys’ bathroom wall Thursday prompted an investigation by school officials and law enforcement.
According to Superintendent Chris Fine, a student reported that a message expressing an intention to shoot up Lathrop High School written on the wall of a bathroom within the school.
No further information was indicated in the message.
Fine expressed that while the threat is not believed to be credible, the incident is currently under investigation.
