JACKSON COUNTY, Mo. — Three area residents were involved in a three-car accident on Interstate 70 in Jackson County Thursday morning.
According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 7:25 a.m. Thursday on I-70 at the 19 mile marker in Jackson County.
A vehicle driven by Nathan T. Griffin, 20, of Warrensburg was traveling west when it overtook and struck a second vehicle, operated by 27-year-old Blue Springs resident Hannah L. Shirk.
This caused Shirk to impact a third automobile, driven by David L. Stovall, 48, of Oak Grove, in the rear.
Stovall was injured in the three-car collision. He sought his own treatment for minor injuries, according to the report.
