CHILLICOTHE, Mo. — Three homes caught fire this morning in Chillicothe, injuring one firefighter.

According to a news release, fire fighters responded to the 400 block of Reynard Street  at 2:25 this morning to find three houses fully involved. Only one of the homes was occupied at the time. All of the residents made it out of the home safely.

As of 5:00 a.m., the fire was contained. Gas and power are being shut off at the sight.

One firefighter was injured while assisting and was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment. Trenton and Carrollton Fire Departments assisted at the scene.

Fire crews will be on the scene for several hours.
