An accident in Grundy County Tuesday night at about 6 p.m. injured three people and one man went to jail. Reports from the Highway Patrol indicate Samuel Adams, 27, of Polo, failed to stop at the intersection of Highways 6 and 146. That’s when his car was hit by the vehicle driven by Imani White, 20, of Ohama, Nebraska. Adams and his passenger, Kaleb Lamp, 32, of Trenton, both had minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. White suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Wright Memorial Hospital. Adams was charged with alleged vehicular assault, failure to stop at a stop sign, driving while revoked and no seat belt. Adams was taken to the Grundy County Jail where he was placed on a 24 hour hold.
