NODAWAY COUNTY, Mo. — Three people were injured in a Nodaway County accident Saturday morning. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report a John Deere Gator, driven by Maryville resident, Gary D. Stiens, 65, was driving on Missouri 148, two miles north of Maryville, when he slowed to turn into a driveway. A Ford Focus, driven by Bedford, Iowa resident, Kole K. Thompson, 23, was behind him and struck his vehicle in the rear. Thompson was uninjured. The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Stiens was moderately injured. Thompson’s passengers, a juvenile female, 5, and Brenda A. Thompson, 23, both of Bedford, Iowa received minor injuries. All were transported by Nodaway County EMS to Mosaic Maryville for treatment.
