MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. – Water in the highway in Morgan County is being blamed for a one vehicle crash yesterday afternoon.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says Christine Gresham, 41, of Gravois Mills was northbound on Highway 5, South of Route P, around 4:27 when her vehicle hydroplaned on wet pavement. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the blacktop, struck several embankments and rolled over.
Gresham was seriously injured and flown to University Hospital for treatment. Her passengers, Colten Gresham, 14, and Jesse Gresham, 10, received minor injuries and were transported to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
