ADAIR COUNTY, Mo. – Two people were jailed and another issued a summons after being arrested Saturday night by a trooper in Adair County.
The two Kirksville residents who were jailed, Cheryl K. Moots, 29, and Kane J. McCoy, 17, had misdemeanor Kirksville traffic warrants and were in possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana. Moots is also being held for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
The third defendant, Kevin D. Potter of Kirksville was cited for possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana.
