LINN COUNTY, Mo. — An accident Saturday morning at US 36 Highway and Route F in Linn County required three area residents to be flown to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

At 9:57 a.m., Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to 36 Highway, three miles east of Brookfield. There, according to a crash report, they discovered that motorcycles being driven westbound by 40-year-old Jessye Ford, of Callao, and La Plata resident Russell Watts, 29, were struck when Carolyn Wolfe, 61 and of Macon, failed to yield, pulling her car into the path of the two motorcycles.

Both Ford and Watts, as well as Ford’s passenger, 36-year-old Audrey Ford, also of Callao, were transported by helicopter to University Hospital for treatment of their serious injuries. Wolfe was uninjured in the accident.
