TRENTON, Mo.- The agenda for the Trenton City Council meeting tonight is stacked with ordinances and new business to be discussed.
After reports and public comments are addressed, ordinances to be read include an authorization for the city to enter into a lease purchase transaction which will be used to pay the costs of acquiring, constructing and equipping improvements to the wastewater treatment plant, approving a change order for the painting of the interior of both water towers and approving an agreement for revision and updates to plans and specifications for the airport apron expansion and taxiway realignment.
Including reappointment to boards new business to be addressed involve presentation of water tower issue, approval of asphalt plant bid, approval of diesel engine oil bid, approval of load tap changer bid, discussion of planned work by NW Electric Coop and council training for City Attorney Walker.
Following new business the city council will adjourn to a closed session. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
