DAVIESS COUNTY, Mo. — Three subjects are in custody following a drug bust at a marijuana growing operation in Daviess County.
Multiple area law enforcement agencies, including the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Bureau of Alcohol and Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were involved in the raid on property in the area of 285th Street and Unity Avenue in Daviess County, as KMZU News reported Monday.
During the service of a warrant at the property Monday, three subjects fled the scene, according to a news release from the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers were provided air support during the sweep of the perimeter-secured area, however no suspects were found during the search, which conducted until dark fell on the area.
Just before the warrant was served, an “individual of interest” in the investigation was arrested in Independence.
The identities of the three subjects who fled the scene is not known at this time. They are not believed to be armed.
Anyone with information about the incident or those involved should call 911 immediately. Further details will be provided as soon as they are available.
