Update:   A Johnson County accident this afternoon left a Warrensburg man with serious injuries.  According to the Highway Patrol, Ronald Nielsen, 52, was traveling on county road 115 when he failed to stop at a railroad crossing.  Nielsen’s vehicle was struck on the rear passenger side by an Amtrack Passenger Train.  He was transferred by air ambulance to Research Hospital.  Officials say the investigation is on-going and charges are pending in the case.

A KMZU listener reported and the Missouri Highway Patrol has confirmed a train versus vehicle accident on Highway 50 approximately 3 miles east of Knob
Noster.  According to the Highway Patrol, no further details are being at this time.  Stay tuned to KMZU for more information as it becomes available.
