The Carrollton City Council will hear from one of its citizens Monday evening. Click to hear KMZU’s Sarah Scott speak with Assistant City Administrator Terry Bell:
The man is concerned about a lot in the 600 block of Shanklin Street. “There’s a tree on the property. And he’s kind of confused, stating that it could possibly belong to the City. The City says it’s not. So we’re going to just get together with him and just kind of make sure we are on the right page with that,” said Bell, “He’s wanting to take the tree down, so we’re just going to listen to his issues, and then see if we can come up with a solution.”
City Counselor Robert Cowherd will go over the procedure on reading ordinances.
“We’ve always read them in full, but he says that is not a necessity. So we just want him to give that information to us a second time so everybody can be clear on that.”
They gather in City Hall Monday evening at 6:00.
