A Chili Cook-off will be held in Trenton on June 9th to support two organizations.  The public and businesses are invited to prepare their best Chili. Hot, mild, bold or meatless, all Chilies are welcome.  The entry fee is $25 and you will need to cook the chili on-site.  That means you will need to bring tables, some type of canopy, a propane cook stove, and a hand washing station.  Contestants will need to prepare a gallon of chili for judging and tasting.  Categories for the competition are Individual, business, and CASI, a national chili cook-off organization.  Entries for each category are $25.  They will also have a salsa category with at $10 entry fee.

The competition will start with set-up at 7:00 a.m., cooking will start at 8:00 and judging will be at noon.  Each of the categories will be judged separately.  There will also be an award for showmanship covering best booth and cook display.
