The Trenton City Council will meet Monday evening with a very light agenda. Click to hear KMZU’s Mike Stone talk with Trenton City Clerk Cindy Simpson.
The main focus of the agenda is discussion and possible action on Bill No. 26. “That has to deal with grease, from restaurants and so forth,” clerk Simpson said. “We’re going to require, by February 1st of 2014, that devices be put on (restaurant and food establishments’) discharge and waste water so grease won’t be going into our waste water system,” she adds.
The only other item on the agenda will be a closed executive session concerning city real estate.
Council will gather at 7 p.m. inside Trenton City Hall at 1100 Main St.
