GRUNDY COUNTY, Mo. — A crash in Grundy County injured a teen driver from Trenton Tuesday morning.

According to an accident report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the one-vehicle crash occurred on County Road Northwest 5th Street, one and one-half miles northwest of Trenton around 7:50 a.m. Tuesday.

A vehicle driven by 16-year-old Aaron S. Farrell was eastbound on Northwest 5th Street when it began to slide on loose gravel, causing Farrell to lose control of the car and begin to slide.

Ferrell then over-corrected, resulting in the vehicle running off the north side of the roadway, overturning and striking a tree.

Farrell was not wearing a seat belt, the report alleges. He received minor injuries in the rollover crash. He refused treatment at the scene.
